Xyz Colony, Kolkata. 2nd July,2021. The Editor, The Times of  India , Kolkata. Subject: Human Dependence on Technology. Sir, Through this letter of mine, I wish to draw the attention of everyone towards the increased dependence of humans on technology. We use internet for any type of information which we can easily access with just a click. Everyone irrespective of a child or an adult , wants gadgets like cell phones, I pod , laptop etc. No doubt technology is a boon to mankind and has a great future ahead, but in my opinion we should not depend on it as excess of everything is bad. It is making everyone lazy. On the other hand , cyber crimes are also growing . The key word for this is caution.  We must make judicious use of technology and should not completely depend on it. These devices are not good for our brain, eyes ,ears and our overall health. We must believe in natural and simple living. May I request your good self to publish an eyeopener article on this topic in your...

Merchant of Venice Act 3 scene 3

This scene is taking about the miserable state of Antonio. He was allowed to leave the jail for a short period. Shylock pleads the guard to have a close watch on Antonio. Antonio's request for a mercy was completely ignored by Shylock. The Jew was keen to avenge all the wrongs done to him. He repeatedly claims "I will have my bond". He also adds that once Antonio called him a dog so now he has to suffer his fangs. Shylock also complains that Antonio is shown favouritism. Antonio decides not to plead any more. Solanio  hopes for some mercy from the Duke but the Duke is helpless as he is duty bound to the strict rules of Venice. If the laws are violated and justice is denied Venice which is dependent on the international trade will lose its credibility.  Antonio's last wish is to see his friend Bassanio just once while discharging his debt.
