Average income - an important criteria for development

To check the Criterion for the Development of countries , their income is considered to be one of the most important attributes.

Countries with higher income are more developed than others with less income.

This is based on the understanding that more income means more of all things that human beings need are available

Factors other than income which are important aspects of our lives

Money in our pocket cannot buy :

  • A pollution free environment.
  • Disease free life - money cannot protect us from the infectious                                                                                                            diseases.
  • Beside money people also like to have equal treatment in the                                                                                                                society, freedom, dignity and honour in their lives, which money                                                                                                          cannot buy them.
                                                                                                             Criteria Developed by UNDP:

Sir, Through this letter of mine, I wish to draw the attention of everyone towards the increased dependence of humans on technology. We use internet for any type of information which we can easily access with just a click. Everyone irrespective of a child or an adult , wants gadgets like cell phones, I pod , laptop etc. No doubt technology is a boon to mankind and has a great future ahead, but in my opinion we should not depend on it as excess of everything is bad.
